Day 1: Montreal - Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our representative will greet you and drive you to your hotel for a first night in Tanzania. Arusha is an important international diplomatic center. This city is considered the de facto capital of the East African Community. Arusha is surrounded by some of Africa's most famous landscapes, such as Kilimanjaro, and African national parks. Located at the foot of Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, there is a mild climate. The transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to your lodge will take about 1 hour, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride before arriving at your lodge for a well deserved night.

Day 3: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
An early morning departure will take you to Tarangire National Park, an important park in northern Tanzania. It takes about 3 hours to get to this park from Arusha. It's on board the Jeep that you will do a safari day in this wonderful nature reserve that surrounds the valley of the Tarangire River and is home to the most magnificent Baobabs in Africa. The savanna, the bush and the seasonal marshes offer a sensational landscape.
This park covers nearly 2,600 km ², about the size of Luxembourg. Tarangire National Park is considered one of the best places in East Africa to observe elephants closely. It is common to cross large herds with elephants. You will also have the chance to see beautiful Maasai giraffes, various gazelles and antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeests, lions, leopards, baboons and over a hundred species of birds.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu
Today you go for a safari day in the famous Ngorongoro crater. A true wildlife sanctuary, you'll find almost every animal in East Africa, including the rare rhinoceros. You will see a panoply of zebras, wildebeest and buffalo. The crater is home to more than 25,000 large animals, including 26 endangered black rhinos, as well as the densest concentration in the world of lions. Each year, nearly half a million visitors come to see this incredible place.
The descent into the crater is breathtakingly beautiful. Lush forest and thousands of animals overlooking the view. When you reach the interior of the Ngorongoro crater, the incredible landscape will flourish around you, your guide will take you through the grassy ground of the crater, its forest, its shores of Lake Magadi and its surrounding swamps. Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Departure in the morning for a safari through the famous Serengeti Park. The Serengeti plain is a natural savannah divided between Tanzania and Kenya. The most common species found in the "endless plains" are the wildebeest, the gazelle, the lion, the leopard, the zebra and the buffalo fetus. There are also jackals, hyenas, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, giraffes, elephants, almost all possible antelopes and a rich avifauna where raptors, large and small as well as different species of vultures are well represented. The Serengeti is probably Tanzania's most famous game reserve. The park covers 14,763 km2, but the ecosystem is much larger, extending over Maasai Mara, Kenya and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to discover the Massai culture during a visit to an authentic village.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park - Karatu
Today, you will leave the plains of Serengeti to go to your hotel near Lake Manyara. Take a safari along the way to Serengeti Park and Ngorongoro Park.
You will arrive in the afternoon to your hotel of great luxury where you will enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 9: Lake Manyara - Karatu
Early morning departure to Lake Manyara National Park, a small park of 330 km2. The fauna is particularly developed and the landscape quite singular, because of its lake and its tropical forests. You will probably see groups of baboons and blue monkeys playing on the side of the road. Lake Manyara is home to buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, but also mating eagles that glide majestically in the sky. Remember to look up, the lions like to climb tree branches! Leopards, although numerous, are more difficult to see due to the density of the flora.

In the morning, you will visit the surrounding hills an authentic Tanzanian village, visit a Lutheran church of German origin, and discover a coffee plantation run by the villagers. Typical dinner at the inhabitant. By late afternoon you will be driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will enjoy one last time the landscape of the city and its surroundings. PD.D
